WOW. Manaus is mesmerizing. Beautiful magical buildings. My favorite video. Though I have only been to São Paulo and Santa Catarina, I named my dog Manaus (I call her Wolfie). I am blown away. Would love to visit Manaus.

The choice of music of “The White Stripes” is very symbolic because the band performed in Manaus at the Amazonas theater and it was such an incredible show that it became part of the theater's history.

Food all around the Amazon seems similar. I had soup and fish dishes very similar in the Peruvian Amazon city of Leticia. Very tasty.
