Advanced Database Views in Notion using Filter Groups

You can now create super specific database views with nested filters in Notion tables.

Long gone are the days of combining "AND" and "OR" logic in formulas, to make your filters work. Not only can you combine AND and OR logic, you can nest it 3 layers deep using filter groups.

Here's an example showing a Task Manager view combining:
- Tasks overdue
- Tasks due in a week
- Tasks marked "high priority"
- Tasks that are not marked "done"

The easier way to do this is to 1) set the filter for “TASK IS NOT DONE” so it applies to everything that follows, and then 2) add a filter using “AND” with a group filter that allows for the three “OR” statements for the different status levels you’ve established.
