Mixing common household products, combined with hand brush scrubbing, to remove mold from exterior stucco.

2024 UPDATE and TO BE MORE CLEAR:
1. Do NOT mix chlorine bleach with vinegar, that IS TOXIC and I did NOT do so in the video!
I mentioned adding one OR the other at 0:47 seconds into the video. Due to the much debated topic of mixing household products and the changing laws regarding TSP (some states/cities have banned the use) and the fact that laundry detergents and dish soaps all have different combinations of chemical ingredients that I am not aware of, I will simplify the approach to ridding mold from exterior stucco. In my particular case, this video was performed over 3 years ago and no mold has returned to this present day of July 2024.

2. "Liquid Solution" = warm water, TSP or Borax where TSP is banned, and a splash of bleach. I have read numerous articles where combining TSP or Borax with bleach is safe and very effective on mold. Do NOT combine all 3, keep it simple. The amounts will depend on the size of your job and a little can go a long way but the warm water helps to break down the TSP or Borax crystals. If after doing your own research, you are still concerned about mixing the bleach with either TSP or Borax, then use only one product with warm water and apply with the soft bristle brushes as mentioned. Be mindful of using too much bleach, it can fade out and whiten your stucco color. I suggest using a spritzer bottle and saturating the area first, for about 5-15 minutes, before reapplying with brushes and hand scrubbing. Be sure to rinse off the work area once you are finished and catch the run off with tarps and old rags, then properly dispose.

3. I eliminated any mention or combination of vinegar, hand soap or laundry detergent. There's too many unknowns as to all of the ingredients used in various dish soap brands and detergents and just too much conflicting information.

4. Be aware that this is applied outdoors where ventilation is key and use "Soft Bristle Brushes" in different sizes because hard or stiff bristles can ruin your stucco. If that's all you have, scrub gently. Wear safety gear such as eye protection, hand gloves, old clothes and breathing masks. Wash your skin off thoroughly when finished. I am not a professional but I wanted to share my successful results and economical approach.

Please refer to my description for updated information on this video. Also, with safety in mind, I want to be clear that I mentioned using bleach OR vinegar, NOT combining the two because that combination is TOXIC.
