An Arizona boy turned 6 over the weekend and he was all alone to celebrate. Teddy Mazzini had a birthday party Sunday. His mother, Sil Mazzini, invited more than 30 of her son's kindergarten classmates but none of them showed. She posted a photo of her son, sitting alone at a very long and empty table all set with pizza and drinks. Word quickly spread of Teddy's solo birthday and social media lit up with birthday messages for the youngster. #InsideEdition

As a parent i will always send my kids to birthday parties to avoid this situation happening. I hope other parents thinks the same.

This is one of the reasons why when my kids were younger we asked permission to celebrate there birthday at school. We would take the pizzas, chips, drinks, snacks, cake to the class with the permission of the school and everyone was able to participate.

It's prolly depressing for a kid but this is actually heaven for adults

This happened to my oldest son (20 now) he was only 2 when it happened. I’m grateful he doesn’t have to remember that day. As his mom, I cried, and felt so bad. It broke my heart. Now he’s in college and has an amazing circle of people around him. Things change and get better.

As an adult, a birthday alone with all that pizza sounds like living the dream.

But as a kid, that's gotta be truly heartbreaking. I'm glad the kid found new friends all over the world. He's truly the most popular kid in school now.

The mom should move her kid to another school and find real friends.

I see so much of myself as a child in this little boy, these pictures break my heart😭 it can be really sad growing up as a type-B-personality, seeing all the extroverted kids make friends so easily. But he seems like such a kind soul, and will have a tight circle of very authentic, long-lasting friendships. And that is so much more valuable than just running with a large heard.

When I was a little girl my mother would RSVP to every birthday invite that I received. I would be there with a gift in hand, hair pressed and curled, wearing my best dress and shiny from 3 layers of body lotion. It would have been me and this little boy eating pizza together.

I blame the classmate’s parents on this. When I was a kid, and even with my kids now, you always show up. No matter what.

Man, it happened to me when I was 5 or 6 years old, I invited all my classmates, I wrote about 30 or so invitations (there was a clown in the letter), I gave it to my colleagues, the day came, and NO ONE came. AND I remember standing on the couch looking out the window to see if anyone was going to arrive at my gate, my mother bought soda, made meat pastries, made sausage rolls, bought plastic plates, disposable cups, and a cake in short I ate the cake with my mother. the other day at school, I didn't speak to anyone, I was so sad.

Awe love the guys personality. You get to know yourself more when you’re alone. He’s not sad, he is, but this will make him greater.
