You can just buy tea filters and use those with your favourite coffee, this is what I do for my Girlfriend who can not live without coffee on our adventures.

Coffee-_Tea-bags...? since years I use Senseo-pads and a spoon to fish it out of the cup...

Love the Ruby Coffee recommendation! I’m in Madison, WI and it’s the only Wisconsin roaster I now drink because it’s reliably so delicious! Thanks for getting the word out!

Looks like the fillmore valves will not work with Cush Core. To me the Stzy valves look promising. So I will order some. They havehex key slot at the bottom, hole st the bottom so you can easily clean it, it's insert compatible so has sideways air channels. Cush Core valve has that too, but doe snot have a hole st the bottom and no hex key slot, nor adjustable wrench compatible nut.

You should ALWAYS carry a set of paper maps of your route. Speaking from experience, batteries die along with any methods of recharging. At this point, a paper map (and a compass) can literally be a life saver.

I will second and third the Silca tool, I have one that travels with my S&S road bike, and I bought a second one for my bikepacking, so that I'm not moving the tool between the bikes. I build up my travel bike with it, I have done three bikepacking trail side repairs. Don't leave home without!

Great review! I’ve been struggling with shoes. Will look at the Pearl Izumis.

Thanks, always enjoy your videos. Ordered the socks from Swiftwick as there is a sale going on and can’t beat the price for merino wool socks.

Thanks for the video. Also nice to have a good bike light that can serve as an additional battery back up for the phone/gps as well. BCXYMQ makes a very affordable 6400 mAh unit that I used on the Tour Divide. Worked like a charm and took a lot of abuse.

That’s the first time I’ve seen the K-Edge top tube GPS mount. What a perfect solution!

I scored an Agarro (27.5x2.6) and love it as a rear tire; faster than the Martello that was on the rear (run a 27.5x2.8 Martello as a front tire for the nastier rocks we have in Northern Nevada/Eastern California) and the Reserves. I got tired of my tire sealant gumming up the works (!).

10:40 what do you mean by the socks give you support? I got ankle braces recently most will probably mean something like that when they say support.
Why does the the compression prevent sweeling? And why would you swell?
I've not had an tissue with swelling, only thing that swells is my blood vains cus I am doing physical activity which is normal.
Do these socks have elastic material? If so I hope it's not some elastic rubber that snaps. Or is it woven to give 4 way stretch without elastics? The socks look like decent socks

50 bucks isn't bad if they are as good as you say they are but every component they can make out of something that is uber durable like Ti for a similar price would be a worthwhile invest for the company imho

Where do I get those colorful spokes? At 3:24 and 15:30?
Do they come as a set?

Thank you for not highlighting a multitool, a useless gommicky multitool. A proper tool like tye Silca ratchet is real deal. I prefer Fixit Sticks though.

Any other front handlebar harness type reccomendations? $60 for a small piece of plastic makes me think of just getting a bag for a little more up there (frugal packer)
