To clear the slicer you can no click ALT + C while the slicer is active.

I created a slicer for Year, Month and Day. The one for Month will populate the same month multiple times. So Ill show Jun several times on the slicer. Is there a way to only show the month as a unique selection? Im using Excel 2013
