Eating can be an enjoyable social task, unless your child struggles to tolerate certain foods.
First, it's important to work with a professional who can help, if your child has a very limited food rapport!
There are some strategies you can incorporate at home as well!

1️⃣ Help prep the food. This can include: meal planning & grocery shopping, putting food away, following a recipe, or simply cutting fruits & veggies. This helps teach future life skills & encourages engagement with the food without the pressure to eat.
2️⃣ Use fun utensils. Use fun plates & cups. You can find a variety of fun options on Amazon! This helps make mealtime more fun!
3️⃣ Encourage serving their own food. This can include pouring food, scooping food, etc. This builds independence & self confidence in their abilities.
