Lexus RX 350 RX350 REAL mpg fuel consumption 2010-2015

Showing real mpg fuel consumption after refueling and average for the past 30k miles. Current mileage on the vehicle is about 110k.

Our 2013 gets 20 - 21 going 65, 18-19 going 80. 16 around town. Never cracked 22, while our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee regularly gets 24-26 on highway highway regardless of speed.

Your RX350 was offered with base front wheel drive or optional all wheel drive. There is a 2-3 mpg penalty for all wheel drive which can even be more depending on local around town vs highway so you have to differentiate which you have when comparing fuel economy.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE IS THE BEST ~ the public has been brain washed to think that AWD is the way to go. What there not telling you is that AWD is 400 LBs more weight to lug around not to mention the added resistance of turning a drive shaft, a transfer case, Axels, Cv joints and so on. Remember when you were a kid and tried to pedal your 10 speed bike from a dead stop in 5th gear. Your car has to work just as hard to move all that unnecessary Stuff.

Youre only getting that gas mileage because your driving 55-65 mph on the freeway in the slow lane mainly freeway mileage stop and go traffic kills that mileage. Or either you're driving a hybrid

I m doing 16 on city and 18 on highway i drive a 2015 rx350 it has gone down from avg of 19 to 17 now. Any idea or suggestions? Thanks

thats weird how its 2k rpm going 65, I have 2012 w 6 speed, I go 85 and the rpm stay at 1800

That's horrible. I am getting 42 mpg in my car. How can you live with burning all that fuel for nothing...
