Gladiators could also get insanely famous like modern day athletes. The crowd didn't necessarily want blood, they were more like modern sports fans. Besides that though, pretty spot on. Imagine being famous and enslaved at the same time.

don't forget those wooden training swords they swung till their arm's were sore were likely WAY heavier and unwieldy compared to a normal sword. Specifically to make it feel like a breeze to use that regular sword.

It's it's not exactly about the accuracy with this channel it's just that he takes historical positions and tells us you know maybe an exaggerated account of how bad and how horrible the living conditions where or what those people had to do and how hard it was and loosely based on some real characters or sometimes even based on some real characters or real events and it's pretty cool because you get a hidden story at the end of the or as the video goes on, the drawings and animations a are nice and look good as it is an endearing and lovable art style, I like this concept a lot

It's good that you specifically said slave gladiators as they were the ones who would be in the fights to death but it was usually reserved for special occasions, yet one slip up as you said could get you killed accidentally in any fight. Having a sparing match where the swords are real and bleeding is a must is not really the epitome of safety.
