I was actually a safari guide on Komodo and Rinca for a while. Ask me anything I guess.
On the daily chores list, you forgot "beg for scraps behind the warung (food stand)". There's a big squad of HUGE dragons that are kind of losers and just chill behind the warung all day. They're mostly harmless but sometimes shit gets a little wild back there.

6:12 Komodo dragons can live over 50 years if we are talking about males. Females live shorter (about 30 years) because they almost non-stop defend their eggs and eat and sleep less which makes them also smaller.
