Thank you. This has helped me a lot. Clear and concise. I drive infrequently, so I always spend 2 minutes with this beforehand.

Clear and precise instructions, I've just had a serious issue with M E and needed a refresher, very rarely use it but you've answered my question and I can see my mistake, hopefully they'll cancel my infringement. Thanks.

Had my first shift yesterday, still managed to make a 'James Hunt' of the manual entry, but that was just down to me. Of all the videos on this, you are the only one basically explaining what the tacho is asking you to put in-i.e what have you been doing since you clocked on etc.
Thanks again

Great clip there" But i noticed that at the start the unit was on other work before you had put your card in"! Was this an error from the driver before, ?

it's ok till he books 2 months since last use as a rest period, i.e. break The ? mark mode should be used for any periods over 24 hours between shifts indicating that the driver has been involved in other activity's as well as rest. That's why the ? mode is only available during manual entry function and why it was added in the 1.4 model.

I’ve just started driving on an part time basis, there can be large gaps between my shifts, but I’m doing my day job in that time, it’s not a driving job, so would I still just put is as a rest period? Or should I put other work?

So after 12.10.16 next time you used a card was almost two months later 01.12.16 so does it mean the card wasn’t used for about two months.

yet another video not using the '?'. Unknown time. to denote daily or weekly rest. Be careful you're gonna be used as 'gospel'when drivers get caught for not using the daily/weekly rest symbol. the Bed symbol is for use during your working day, denoting your break periods. Ex CPC Trainer
