It’s so funny how the Beatles didn’t always play the instruments that we thought they did! I was really surprised that this was Paul. This is a very ferocious solo and it has the George-like economy(saying a lot with a little and primarily serving the song and the melody) but it WAS Paul! I also surprised that John played bass on some songs.
