By subtly shifting the rhythm guitar more to the right and reallocating the unlocked backing vocals to the left, I've enriched the stereo field, breathing new life into this timeless track. Additionally, I've injected extra vitality into the mix by slightly amplifying the drums and bass, staying true to the original's dynamic energy.

In honoring the integrity of the original recording, I've refrained from incorporating any artificial enhancements or additions. My remix simply involves de-mixing and re-blending the vocals and instruments, echoing the stylistic norms of the 1960's era.

As for the accompanying visuals, since footage of The Beatles performing "Taxman" is scarce, if at all, I've crafted a unique illusion by seamlessly merging footage from a 1991 Beatle with that of the 1960s Beatles, presenting a cohesive performance as if The Beatles had never disbanded. Or, I guess you could say that this is a George Harrison performance with the world's greatest back-up band. While this may diverge from the preferences of die-hard Beatle aficionados, I invite you to immerse yourself in this imaginative journey and relish the experience!

I learned something today. I have listen to one of my favorite Lennon songs "Not A Second Time" for decades and someone pointed out a story he read that it's John with his guitar, Ringos' drums and George Martin's piano. I listen to it and he's right. There's no bass guitar. The drums and piano is supplying the bass. It's a old trick that I use in some of my own songs too but never realized the Beatles did it with that track. I know there are many 60's hit songs that did that too. A few Rascals hits where Felix supplies bass with his hammond organ etc. It's a good way to bring the drums upfront in a mix.

Not only one of George's best songs, but one of the best Beatle songs as well. Also, one of the best Guitar solos on any Beatle record. Ironically, it was actually Paul playing lead Guitar on this one at 1:07.
