The buildup of azoles (the doctors suspect) in my wife's body has caused severe peripheral neuropathy to the point she can't walk or hold anything without aide. She will be starting a treatment of Fosmanogepix in hopes of reversing the neuropathy. She has tried all existing anti-fungal meds, so this experimental drug is the last option to combat her coccidioidomycosis meningitis.
