"Lemon Fog" by Lemon Fog is the star⭐of the show! Couldn't find that one, even way back in the day! It just never surfaced!

I love The Golden Dawn’s album Power Plant, their album was recorded before the debut 13th Floor Elevators, but the label wouldn’t release it until months later. The track My Time should have been a single, one of my favourite tracks of the era! 🎉

Great singles there, love them all and that time period.

The trouble is, there were so many cool 45's out there, and trying to narrow down ones to review, must be a real task in itself. Hunting down these 45's to me, is harder than finding albums, but just as rewarding, when you finally get your hands on 'em!

I remember Jason Crest, A place in the Sun was played on the radio, I’am sure Kenny Everett played there records on his radio show. They were one of so many other bands that just got overshadowed in those days!

Great stuff as usual Derek love 45's and 45 comps. Just found an original (scratched but playable and enjoyable) 1967 Yorkville label 45 " Everything" by The Quiet Jungle, which was the bands answer to 1966's "Nothin" by The Ugly Ducklings, which I have on the black Yorktown label. In the late 60's I heard lots of cool singles on the radio, one being The Balloon Farm doing A Question Of Temperature and another oddity The Little Black Egg by The Nightcrawlers, both amongst others stuck in my head and as an old guy digging in the thrift store record bins the past twenty years, I managed to find five nice copies of The Balloon Farm but not one single Little Black Egg! The moral of the story is- KEEP DIGGIN! Cheers.

I used to think Jason Crest was one solo guy! I had no idea for years it was a group called The Jason Crest I still don't know what the name means
