Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 (15-inch) review

It seems like the 15" Surface Laptop 3 is for someone who loves the design of Microsoft's ultraportable, but just wants a slightly bigger screen. In that respect, it delivers. I just wish Microsoft pushed a bit harder to make it more capable for power users.

I have been using this laptop now for two months, I used to have an asus laptop but I used it for about 6 years and it was time to upgrade. I'm planning on using this laptop for undergrad as well as graduate school. The design and feel of the laptop is simple which is what I love about it. The screen size is perfect for what I want to do but is still light weight. Even the charger has a special usb port where you can plug in your phone instead directly plugging it into the laptop port. Super impressed with windows and so glad I choose it over a MacBook!

How come every other review I've seen says the AMD chips can't compare to Intel? What's different here? Also, why compare it to an 8th gen chip in the xps 13 when these AMD chips directly compete with 10th gen intel?

Only problem with this video is that the Dell XPS 15 costs $1899.00 not $1599. If your a student with a Student email then microsoft gives you great student discounts. My Daughter just bought a Suface 4 laptop and got $525 off It did cost just over $2000 but she got it with office 365 for free at $1499.95

I feel like the 13.5" model is the one we should be getting. AMD just ain't cutting it. Only a handful of channels did a review on the 13.5", which is kinda sad.

Why do people complain about black bars. The 3:2 or 16:10 display is what should always be used for laptops. 16:9 should NEVER be used.
