I saw Roger in concert twice earlier this year, and he is still as good as he was the first time I listened to the Byrds in 1965 as a 12 year old. His musicianship is still astonishingly excellent, and I hope to see him again on his and Camilla's next west coast tour. His concerts are two hours of joy-filled music and stories that are simply unforgettable. Still gives me goosebumps listening to his music everyday even after 60 years.

One of my favorite artists of all time. I saw him over 25 years ago in Philadelphia playing solo as the last artist at a radio station's day of music. I think we waited 5 hours not knowing when he would come on. But it was still worth it. May you have peace in your life Roger. Thank you for all that you have given us.

I discovered the Byrds when I was in high school. They remain my one of my two all time favorite bands, alongside the Moody Blues.

My musical hero. Such a gentleman and a little shy but engaging. Here’s to more years, Roger!!

I have loved the Byrds 'as a whole' since those early days of Hey, Mister Spaceman, I feel a whole lot Better, Bells of Rhymney & both sides of the bookends of those tunes as well. Who could not love the music of the Byrds. I was also fortunate enough to see them in Durban, South Africa in '67 / '68. Who knows the actual year, but the memory remains secure. The albums stood side by side with the Beatles & Bob Dylan for easy access. And like those greats, were a part of the soundtrack of my life. So thank you Jim / Roger, for putting so many hours of pure joy into my years. God Bless you All ! 😊❤🎉

*I spoke with Jim "Roger" McGuinn last night and NO he does NOT have Parkinson's! Sad anyone has to resort to bs lies to get people to listen, aka Clickbait.*

He IS the true proponent of the 12 string guitar. Saw him three times in concert, once back stage with Roger, & Clarence White we talked music & the life on the road. They played off each other better than any other musicians I have ever heard.

Thank you for sharing this history of his journey and accomplishment! I have been a fan since the mid sixties. My AA sponsor has Parkinson's so I understand the struggles, but he's still doing well. I pray that you are as healthy as possible for as long as possible. God bless you Roger for all you have done to bless us with the gifts of faith and music.

I was lucky enough to catch his show about 5 years ago. The dude is a legend. Also he had some sweet potted plants up on stage as a back up band.

I've been a big fan ever since I heard Mr.Tamborine Man way back in the '60s. I love his music; my favorite, I believe, is My Back Pages.

I first saw Rodger at Fillmore West in 1968, then many times after over the years. I was at a music venue called Summerfest in Milwaukee . I got there early and was in the first row. As he sang a had a big smile on my face, then after awhile he must have noticed that because he looked down and give me this big smile back. He appeared in a small entertainment place in my town with his wife. I will always remember when Tom Petty came out and people said he sounds just like Rodger McGuinn and then years later when Rodger came back into the spotlight with his Back from Rio alblum, they said that he sounds just like Tom Petty

Roger is a saint for folk music, and a master of rock & pop who I grew up on in the 60's.I ghostwrote Traveling Wilburys for Roy Orbison's comeback and wanted Roger in the band so bad, but couldn't pull off 6 members, just 5, though he deserved to be there. I ghostwrote him an album instead, Back From Rio.1987. You all love him, or wouldn't be here. You love all 12 strings of him.

We've been in touch with each other for 50 years. I had no idea this was happening to him. Thank God for Camilla. When you have health problems, it's vital to have someone you can count on and they have been together for 45 years. If anyone can beat this, McG can.

I believe in free speech, but when lies like this are posted on social media, people who know the Truth should speak up. So glad Roger is still performing. He’s one of the great artists of the 1960s. Whenever I hear his voice and that 12 string “Rick” … I know it’s him. I’m 75 years old. Thank You Roger for the JOY. ✝️
