Wait, Did Anyone Else Notice This From Kaido House?

Check out what differences exist between DAI'S R33 in real life and that of the Kaido House casting and I think you might be really surprised. Was this just a lazy attempt to make something close enough or does this accurately represent this iconic build?

I actually like what Kaido originally did, putting their unique spin on designs and coming up with castings that weren’t meant to be true to life but more a showcase of creativity and interpretation- a bit like a virtual Lilberty Walk. This one however misses the mark, don’t try and replicate a real car using an exaggerated casting- leave that to HW 😑

I’ve noticed on the upcoming HKS R33 they said it was a tribute to the real car - perhaps that’s the angle they’re taking with this - that it’s merely a tribute not meant to be the exact car

I would agree that Kaido reusing and milking castings so much is a bit tiresome though

It's actually looking nice as long as you treat them like some kind of tribute/homage models and didn't expect a true 1:64 scale but I personally won't ever buy them

I hate the deep dish wheels. I would want to swap it but the wide body casting makes other wheels look very off

lol the car is amazing the whole kaido house collection is stunning they are doing their own thing you wither love em or hate em.. hot wheels cannot ever compare with these guys though, hot wheels is for kids the detail takes a dump all over the hot wheels collection

I thought the core value between the normal mini gt and Kaido is different . To me kaido isn’t another "model car "brand that co -branding with mini gt.
Kaidos things is about Juns design aesthetics and style, so the scale, realistic ….wouldn’t really be a problem to me.

Kaido is like hotwheels. Not trying to be as realistic vs Mini GT being more realistic like matchbox. Two sides of the same company. Not sure whats so hard to get about that

Yeah it doesn't feel respectable and true to collect these, Dai's R33 and Larry's 240Z. Feels like the same with Hot Wheels and Time Micro, just kept reusing the casting ha ha.

I agree with kaido house being not truthful to the original casting. They basically want to take the color scheme and reuse it for profit, which I'm not a fan of.

But kaido house as a whole isn't really about being faithful, it's about the artistry. They do a great job on their models even though they are not meant to look real, or be perfect scale.
