As someone who is married to a former Teacher of the Year and School Principal who also taught at Yale I find it hilarious that she might not get “elected” because she wasn’t republican enough in her district. We already elect a school board that has to approve the appointment of school principals.

We already elect the school boards. They do the choosing and appointing. Conservative Christians have been packing school boards for decades. Trump doesn't know that, of course.

Funnily enough, parents can pick their principals by picking different schools. It isn't always easy, and it's usually pointless, but it is something some parents do.
