This is why a digital ID will never be safe.

I've always operated under the assumption that this was happening. Anything online has never been safe.

It's not a breach. This shit is being allowed to happen.

Whoever is responsible for the data leak needs to be held accountable

Interesting that British people can't find out if they have been breached, but the criminals can.

I've been telling people for years, if it's digital, it's not private.

I am a pensioner I can’t afford using these suggested safeguarding companies/software.. .. they all are subscriptions incl credit agencies who charge a monthly fee to text you. Just not fair for the poorer

So our personal information has been stolen, and we do not receive a penny in compensation.
Nobody will be punished for this

So who's getting prosecuted?
Who's responsible for keeping this information safe?

Isn’t this shutting the door after the horse has bolted?

I mean, if your data is on a hackers list already, then getting your data removed from companies selling your data isn’t really going to help.

*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40, 000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85, 000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me*

Really surprised by this video, for sure we need to all make sure our data is secure but this came across as an advert for third party companies and i can't work out which is worse... those that stole/bought the data, or someone using it as a means to promote a company which claims to be able to stop it.

Didn't think i'd ever see this from BBB, but here we are.

Seems somewhat ironic that in order to hope to get your details off some databases you have to add your details to someone else's database and trust that they are actually doing what they claim to be doing.... oh, and pay them for the privilege.
