As a burnt out AR 60 player, my tip would be to take everything slow, burnout is a real pain. I believe everyone deserves to experience this game's beauty by taking things at your own pace, events may disappear, but that's only one part to the game, exploring each region and discovering it's story line is like a reward for playing this game.

Played for about 2 months, ill try to explain as i did lots of research.

Adventure Rank = Account level up

4 daily commissions quests to get rare in-game currency (primogems). 2 days for 1 story key. The story key is to unlock playable character's backstory which will give you the incentive to spend money later on.

The mode of transport is teleporting. The main statues (statue of seven gods) have a bigger node on the map which heals the entire party and allow the traveller (main character chosen at the start of the game) to switch between elements. 7 continents for 7 elements. Starting with Mondstadt for wind (anemo), Liyue for earth (geo), Inazuma for electricity (electro), Sumeru for grass (dendro), Fontaine for water (hydro) and upcoming Natlan for fire (pyro) and Snezhnaya (?) for ice (cryo).

Through exploring the map, you'll encounter oculi which can be given (worship) to the main stautes for rewards like increasing stamina limit for the first 2 continents.

There are tree systems in some regions where it's a pain to lvl to lvl 50 for primogems and weapon billets (used for crafting weapons).

Weapons are available from swords, claymores, polearm, catalyst and bows.

Wishing banners is one of the ways to get extra characters to play. It mostly feature a 5* character with 3 4* character. It's limited so there's a time limit to get them which uses primogems converted into rainbow ones. Currently there are 2 dedicated wishing banners for phase 1 and 2 of each update = 4* 5 char in every version that may be new character or re-runs since it's gacha.

The difference between 4* and 5* is like rarity where 5* are mostly valued.

There's 3 types of banners - character, weapon and standard wish. Just focus on character banners first. There's a new banner but will disappear since it's only 1 time and the purpose is to give a shield starter character. It takes a maximum of 180 wishes to get a guaranteed 5* character on that banner with the 50% chance occurring on the first 90 wishes.

There's the pity system which is just bs since there are lots of addictive players who pulled on the banner and then complaining afterwards.

When you pull for a character, they'll give extra stuff (eg. Star dust) which can be used in shop to trade for more wishes or character ascension materials.

Then other than that, there's the Battle Pass (BP) system which is a monthly progress thing that'll reward players. There's 2 paid versions where 1 unlock paid rewards and another is the same thing but grant extra 10 lvls.

Resin is the recharge energy thing that is regenerated once every 8 mins. It makes sense to use it on fighting world bosses, weekly bosses, and weapon ascension materials rather than going for artifacts as 5* artifacts are only available from AR 45.

Building a character: Apart from leveling with exp books, elemental crystal and world bosses, there are talents (require all those just bosses changed to weekly bosses for talents lvl 7 onwards). Max is lvl 10 which is resource extensive. Then there's weapon for character which also need resource and refinement system for weapon (multiple copies of same weapon) to make it stronger. Constellations (makes characters stronger also need more copies of said characters from wishing or shop). And artifacts for making characters stronger.

Every minor update will have 1 main event and 3 sub events to give rewards for participating. It's to maintain playerbase. They'll give 1 free 4 star character whose names are mentioned in the vid.

Abyss is for endgame content that requires 2 teams to defeat mobs in time limited scenarios for more primogems. First 8 floors offer 1 time reward. So if want clear on a monthly basis then need redo 1-8 and continue with floor 9 till floor 12.

There's also another endgame which is Imagnium Theatre that requires 18 characters of lvl 70 with the elements stated so yeah.

I used to be AR 50 but since i stopped playing for 3 months i forgot the account password and so i am starting a new journey to the best possible account i have ever created/used so this video is very helpfull its so clean and have dept to the guides unlike other tutorials which skips a ton of important things just ti make the video shorter so Once AGAIN Thank you.

SO GOOD - you walk through everything with visuals and details that most guides skip over too quickly.

NOW is the best time to start because I've noticed old assumptions have finally shifted (under and over hyping teams) - I started at a time when old guides were outdated but I didn't know. I think it would have been better to have realized the difference between hypercarry investment level vs quickswap reaction teams at the beginning instead of just knowing that a character or team is strong.

Any team can work, sure, but the level of investment is drastically different. So I love Cyno and Wanderer, but they won't be ready for a while - but I want to do hard content now so I have easier to build teams with versatile characters like hyperbloom and Neuvilette/Furina (I do happen to like them)

Also, any artifacts with the right mainstat&substats are perfect until you can get ideal sets for your characters - a complete set with crap stats is far worse. I was overloaded as a new player with so many videos on the ideal that i discarded gear that was strong. Like you said, don't waste resin until you can farm the 5* sets - you don't even need 5* sets until that world level anyway

im an old player and i was ar55 and i am getting back into genshin. all of the advice rings true. one thing i will emphasize is not to waste all of your resources leveling every character you get, level up the characters you like.
