@NomisRC great video! I have an older Carlinkit AI box with Android 9 4GB ram and have been curious to upgrade to this. Question for you, with this new one, have you had any issues with call quality? One thing I’ve always hated about mine is the call quality over the speakers is always trash sounding. I’m really hoping this new one sounds good?

1. In the android OS mode when using YT music for instance- do steering wheel controls work?
2. Can you use BT to output audio from the android OS to a different device?

Do you need to have the smartphone package enabled into your car for it work or it'splug and play? It's £300 in the uk to be activated by mercedes if you want to use android auto

You can have Internet it's called Bluetooth Internet a cheap box I had it was difficult to connect because it was hairy but it worked when finally connected

I just got this unit. I got it connected but the screen mirroring on my iPhone 15 is not finding the device. Is there a setting to turn it on in the CarlinKit ? I'm totally unfamiliar with Android devices having only had Apple phones. Also, while connected the audio system in my Toyota does not function, not even the radio. Is this normal? I had to switch to my phone to play radio.

Hi, thank you very much for the video. I have the device for a few days and my question/problem is that the device would not automatically connect to the car when the car is turned on (MG4). The device lights up but I need to unplug the USB connector and plug it in again to get it connected to the car. Have you had this problem ? It might well be that it is an issue with the car but I just wanted to ask you for your experience. Thanks !

hi there.. thanks for the video its extremely helpful.. I have a car that does not have built in Carplay.. but it supports wired phone connection using an app called "QDLink" which mirrors the phone to the head unit.. Do you think the Box would work for my car "Geely Tugella 2024"?
