Probability and Statistics Lesson 23: Defining, Finding, and Applying Marginal Densities

This is the 23rd video of my Mathematical Statistics course which contains the background prerequisite material for Exam P. In this video I define marginal density and then calculate the marginal densities of both variables from a given joint probability density function (pdf). In the end we do some calculations to illustrate why marginal densities are useful to know in a practical problem.
