Mans speed running towards Glorious Evolution. And the way he transitions from limping to walking and then running is animated so beautifully. It feels so real. Did they do motion capture for this series? I hope they release a behind the scenes episode.

I broke my fémur's head in three pieces. Couldnt properly walk for almost a year. When I finally was able to drop my staff and start walking it made me cry. Powerful scene

This isn't a fight scene or a particularly sad one, we just see someone running. But that is why it's one of the BEST scenes in the whole show. The symbolism with the ship in the background....
That's how you make good character development for a video game champion without keeping newcomers aside from knowing them. That's one of the scenes that make Arcane a masterclass to me, and the best video game adaptation in history so far.

Good god that yell. It is every emotion that Viktor has ever held on to. It would have been so easy to make it just ya know, happy or joyful. But that would never be what this moment is. There is catharsis in this moment for Viktor, but it’s also wrapped in later upon layer of more complex emotion. It’s rage at the circumstances that crippled him, circumstances that others are still subjected to. It’s grief at how much of his life he has spent watching his health deteriorate. It’s determination to keep running towards a new, a BETTER tomorrow. It. Is. Everything… it is Viktor, all wrapped up in a shout from the soul. My god this show is brilliant.

Something I noticed about the "camera" tracking.
The Camera pan starts off steadying increasing in speed matching Viktor, but when he stumbles, Viktor slows down; moving Viktor from the center to the right of the screen.
Then as Viktor regains balance and runs faster, he catches up to the center of the camera. He even briefly passes the center of the screen.
All while the camera steadily increases in speed.

This was the scene that got me more choked up than anything else up until that point in the show, and it's just a man running. No words, no fight, no confrontation. Just a man running.

the way he runs with his entire body is amazing, his neck is even moving it's so physical! I can't find a way to describe it beyond truly physical, and he's animated.

The way he goes from limping, to walking, then to full on speed running. Goes back to when it showed the flash back of when he couldn’t even catch up to his toy boat, but look at him now running faster than the boats across the water. It’s gorgeous.

I was literally shouting “GO VIKTOR GO!” Like yes give this man a Win for once. Love him so much

Remember watching Forrest run for the very first time? This shit felt almost the same way but much heavier. Because we already know what he would become and we are finally here to witness how it all happens. They are taking their sweet time fleshing out his lore and we are all fucking here for it.

The fact that he outruns the ship behind him reflects his childhood when he cant catch his toy ship. he couldn't keep up with his invention becaus of his body and now his invention helps him. it's just so beautiful...
