Like many of the women in the crowd, I was shutting tears to Amber‘s mother speak and share her pain.
Anyone who has daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend of childbearing age this could be your pain as well. This is not a “woman’s issue”, it’s an issue of humanity.

I am a68 year old woman in Florida, where I have lived all my life. We tried for years to have a child when we were in our 20s and 30s. I had to have 3 D&Cs during that time, before I had to have an early hysterectomy at 38. I am so sorry for any woman in Florida now that might have the same health issues today. What is getting lost in this case are the twin babies who lost their lives.

What is not being discussed are the reasons for aborting the twin babies in the first place.

Were there pregnancy complications,
was the mother's health at risk prior to her abortion,
were there fetal abnormalities determined by prenatal testing, was she a single parent overwhelmed by a twin pregnancy?

It was a horrible situation for everyone.
