The part that helped me was seeing the thermal paste application. It's what I'm most worried about botching, other than doing the BIOS flashback to update for the X3D processors in the AM5 slot. If I can do those bits, then I can build my own computer. I chose this fan because I didn't want to mess with liquid cooling, and people are saying they keep their Noctua fans for years. So it's just a few dots, then press down? Neato.

Hi, I'm looking to build myself a new PC and I was planning on getting the NH-D15 for my CPU, which will be the Ryzen 7 7800x3d. The problem from what I see is that NH-D15's RAM clearance is only 32mm, while the RAM sticks I want to use are 34.9mm tall.

How hard is it to move the outside fan? Is it just a matter of putting it up slightly higher and that's it? No need to worry? For further info, I'll be using a Fractal Torrent case, which has 188mm as maximum height for the cooler.

Interesting, is it include in new NHd-15 product ? or maybe i need to buy the the NM-AMB12 product separately ? i have planned to buy the NHD-15 for my new ryzen 7 7700X.(AM5)

I recently bought this Nh-d15 heatsink, when I disassembled it to change the CPU I noticed that the contact plate was off-centered towards the bottom and that the upper part of the CPU was outside the plate, this position is named -7mm on my instructions, AM5 7 9800x3d CPU, are the instructions reversed? The offset position is perfectly centered on the CPU, I don't understand how it is possible even if the main dies are on the southern part of the CPU because it is better that the plate does not adhere to the heatsink but rather leave it outside the plate. Please help me.

Is it a -7mm offset from center of the holes or is it -7mm between the hole radiuses? :)

Hello! Ryzen 7 7700. I couldn't find any tests online with or without a 7mm offset. Which position would be better? Is there a big difference?

Does this offset bracket fit the Msi X670E Carbon and the d15s? I know the d15s fits on the carbon without the offset.

Does the offset really make a difference? Anyone have any comparative values for me? Thing is, with offset setup the tower comes a bit too close to the graphics card backplate, that´s why I´m using standard setup instead. Package temps in Prime95 at max temp test arround 83° Grad.

What is the plastic piece you put right before applying the thermal paste? Do you need to remove it afterwards or is the heatsink mounted with that plastic?

NM-AMB12 for my very very old
NH-C12P (SE14)
I don't have an AM5 mounting kit :( but I do have an old
NM-AM4 kit
With those 3 components, will I be ok to mount this properly with 7mm offset on ITX B650 Mothetboards? (AsRock)

Maybe will help someone... The compatibility list for this bars is currently incomplete.
In my case, NM-AMB13 bars fit NH-P1 radiator. So far, this information is not available anywhere.
