I really like it on a cold day (in MA) and the fact that I can lock and unlock doors - One major upgrade I would like to see is the ability to close the sun roof remotely … I’ve been away from the car and realize it’s going to rain or snow and would like the ability to close the sun roof remotely.

Had auto start on a previous car but different brand. Only benefits was when it was very cold outside and you had set the heater to come on it was great. It too shut off when you opened the door to prevent car theft.

But if you buy a 2022 or newer Subaru and live in Massachusetts Subaru won't turn on Starlink because of a dispute with the State, So you can't use the remote start or the rest of the features. Would be nice if they could fix this so I could use in on my '22 while my wife already enjoys it on her '21

I'm a 2022 Forester owner too. My car sits in the driveway while my wife's car is in the nice warm garage. The remote start app worked great last winter, but it hasn't worked at all for over a month. It sure would have been nice to have that feature working during the Christmas sub-freezing weather. Come on Subaru -- it's time for a fix to this problem.

My Subaru Starlink hasn't worked in months. I went to the dealership and they referred me to support. Support tried to troubleshoot and said I'd need to take it to the dealership. Wish someone would help. It's only a 2022 Outback

It's a great feature I guess but I already paid $36, 000 for the car now you want even more money just so I can start it from my phone this has me strongly considering selling the car and going to a different brand

I've used the remote start on my 2021 Crosstrek many times and love it. I bought a used 2019 Outback Touring last summer and tried to add the Outback to the app. After entering the VIN I get a message that the VIN is already in use. I called the Support line half a dozen times. Never once was an agent available so elected to be called back, but no one ever did. I finally gave up. How can I resolve this problem?

My 3 year warranty expired on my 2021 Subaru crosstrk. So the remote start off the phone app shut off. Now they want $14.95 a month just to start my car remotely. I had planned on keeping it for another year but now I’m so disgusted with the nickel and dime crap I will trade it in sooner, and not for another Subaru, ever again. I feel like it cheapened the entire experience.

On these 4 cylinder engines it takes forever to warm up the car. Even driving my Forester it takes at least 20 mins before I get comfortable, driving 35 mph or so. I have remote start but never use it because he car would have to idle for 30+ minutes. That seems like a big waste of fuel. I just flip on the seat heater and steering wheel heater and live with it. Even the seat heater isn't great and doesn't warm all that well. Why can't they build these cars to warm up quicker ?

Will this work if I'm in another country than where my car is located as long as I can connect to the app? I'll be overseas for 6 weeks and want to start my car occasionally while it's sitting in the Airport parking lot.

How to turn off the horn/chirp when remote starting the car via MySubaru? (It's chirps before and after the motor is started). It's annoying for neighbors and makes me very uncomfortable. Also, my dog wakes up barking at the window.
