My last narc, his biggest supporter is his ex whose inheritance he drained, and put her through hell. She still defends him tooth and nail, and trying sooo hard to get me with him so he can ruin me too. Shes tried every trick in the book. Ok, I'm no contact with her too. I'm younger, have a job and nice car, she wants to see him destroy me too. Not gonna happen!

Lunatic- I mean, ex-husband did that, or mostly tried to.. For myself, I didn’t care!- My thinking: Anyone who knows me, & knows him, knows what’s up! HOWEVER- & I didn’t realize this ‘ flying monkeys’ idea related unfortunately to my precious child! Having tried to learn as much as possible about households that include an addict parent, I thought, OMG, lunatic finagled the situation so that child was, as per the literature, the “ identified patient”, as far as outside world was concerned. I still think that fits, but flying monkey concept hits it on the head.

As per me Flying Monkeys crave for Respect, Love, Affection in Relationship.

As per me Flying Monkeys are those who always had a Tough, Rough and Hardships during their Childhood.

Like for Example a Child who is served daily with Bread and Butter by his Mom and the Child Nextdoor or the Co Student in Primary School, has variety of Cuisines in the Lunch Box on the Food Table.

Later in Adulthood and while in University the Co Student is provided with enough Pocket Money 🤑💰 to buy Sumptious Breakfast from College Cafeteria.😊 Such a Child may later transform into a Flying Monkeys in Adulthood 😊

My ex husband did exactly this. All the friends we had when married that we knew for over 25 years, now don't speak to me because of how my narcissistic ex told the story of how the children and I left him. His new wife didn't even know he'd been married before for 21 years. Nor did she know he had to children aged 12 and 16. I couldn't believe the tales of victimised he had told people. Nothing was said about the cruelity or verbal and physical abuse. No that wasn't even mentioned. It was all me!!!
