If you’re anything like me, faith often feels like “letting go.” Letting go of the things I can’t control, of the unnecessary worrying about tomorrow, of the constant lie to try to prove myself or earn my worth. I’ve been a pastor for 5 years now. I was diagnosed with cancer 6 days after I was ordained. I’ve been sick and weak for years, but I couldn’t give up on my call. I just got an “all clear” from my doctors last month and feel more prepared for this work than ever. Faith is about letting go of what we cannot carry ourselves and fully trusting in God’s grace. Thank you for this song. My church will surely sing this in worship sometime soon.

I just broke down listening to this, God has ordained my life from the very beginning - I've struggled a lot with my identity, sexuality and even my self image, but over the past few years I've been trusting God with everything, career, marriage, MY LIFE and He HAS NOT DISAPPOINTED ME. I remember my mom often saying to trust God because then you are in better hands. I was missing her this morning even though she passed awhile ago. This song touches my heart! What a great reminder to keep trusting our wonderful Saviour!

Our Saviours better hands have always been there, they are now and always will be. From being condemned to the kingdom of darkness and death. Faith in Christ Jesus reborn into what he The Lord Almighty always wanted for his children. Eternity with The Trinity.
