STEP 2: PLAYING WITH THE CHORDS

Look at the notes on YOUR sheet & compare them to LINK 1 notes. Do they match?

Find the chords on LINK 1 & write them down on YOUR sheet, such as D, G, etc. You will be able to play them on a guitar at once. On the violin, these chords may be played as DOUBLE STOPS (two notes on two strings)

STEP 3: TRANSPOSE THE MELODY from B flat Major to D major.

To TRANSPOSE the C scale notes to D means to add #2 to each number in the sequence:

as a result, we have:
