Funnily enough, the same thing applies to “normal” customer service jobs. In Norway, we have some store chains that try to sell you as much as possible there and then, not caring about the situation 6 months later. Other chains are way more popular because of their brutal honesty, because they would rather miss out on one sale now than all future sales.
