You said, "you can never complain that you didn't press 'record'". Maybe not because of the number of buttons, however, it takes so long for the camera to RESPOND to the record buttons when you turn it on, I've missed a number of shots because I thought it was recording when it wasn't. This, and the fact that the camera defaults to ISO 100 (even in auto-ISO) when using flash are the 2 main problems I have with this camera.
