my owner manual allow 0w20, 0w30, 5w30, 5w20...They also list recommend to service the oil under normal condition and severe condition 😅

That’s also what happens when you don’t drive very far in your engine never heats up to full operating temperature building up moisture

Thats actually from not getting the engine up to temperature. Likely the owner drives a lot of short distances.

That's from moisture you
the oil in the cap not getting transferred in the engine. So over time it accumulates moisture.

Failing to change your oil will require a costly remanufactured engine even if it’s a very robust engine like the inline 6 Mercedes engines from the 90s or the legendary 2GR-FE

Moisture on cap is from not getting up to temperature properly from short start stop journeys.

posters comment can be confusing. i believe he ment to say that the car has 90k miles and ran the wrong weight of oil. but that stuff on the cap is moisture due to short trips.
