Netflix releases a new teaser for ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 and things between Penelope and Colin are heating up! In this clip, Penelope confronts Colin about his behavior and even calls him “cruel.” Part one of the steamy series will start streaming on Netflix May 16th followed by part two on June 13th.

The problem isn't that the guy she's in love with didn't want to court her, she's known that. The problem was that he (as one of the most eligible/wanted bachelors and a guy that other men love to be around and respect) told a bunch of other bachelors in the middle of a ball during the season that he'd never court her. He basically ruined her chances of finding a husband, maybe for the rest of her life, with that one comment. In the books, he just says it to his brothers on the doorstep of the Bridgerton family home when Penelope happened to be leaving from a visit with his sister. Regardless, Penelope deserves better than Colin Bridgerton in both the book and the series. I do not think Netflex can do enough with the script to make me like that guy.

I just hope they won’t pull off something to redeem his behaviour from last season like she stormed of “too early” and he actually said something like “She’s such a marvellous, kind and wonderful person and I’m not worthy of somebody like her blablabla.” I want to actually see him chase her and get jealous or something like that, but I haven’t read the books so I don’t know how realistic my wishes are and how close the writers are sticking to the source material. Anyway I’m excited for the new season ❤

Actually, pen in book is so kind and respond the “i would never court penelope” scene by colin rather cool and perfect and i lover her bcs of it. She replied she understand and she would never court benedict -for example- and wont be heartbreak bcs nothing is goin on, but then she add that she never tell and even more ask anyone to be courted by colin. Eventho when she finally home, she let herself cry.. meanwhile, in the teaser video, she seems true of herself and being much confident and consider that she herself matter but somewhat angry after like a year is so not pen attitude, i think there’s something that trigger her to finally shout out like that.. i think its for the tv show need and really that is very teasing..

I hate the way she constantly puts herself down in front of him. If she thinks so little of herself then how can he see her in any other way. She is always fawing all over him and putting him on a pedestal. It’s repelling. No wonder he thinks of her the way he does. Stop snivelling Pen and elevate yourself in his eyes and in your own. Then he might see you as the prize and not himself.
