With scattered reports of recovered COVID-19 patients testing positive again, a lot of people are wondering if it’s possible to develop immunity at all. Chances are many people will develop some sort of immunity, but your immune system isn’t exactly straightforward, and the length and strength of that potential immunity may not be known for some time. This isn’t helped by inconsistent testing rates which have impacted the reliability of positive or negative tests in the first place. So your best bet is to keep social distancing for as long as you can.

Yes you can get it twice. I know a family member who just caught it again but she says it's not as bad as the first infection.

Chinese news said that a young guy recovered from Covid after being at hospital for 15 days, then test said he had no Covid, so they sent him to his house on quarantine, the next day he was feeling awful, ill, again and the Covid test said he was positive again. Saw that new on CGTN I’m not quite sure tbh.

I’ve had it once. And no way do I ever want to get it twice. It is scary when you can’t breathe and it feels like a gorilla is sat on your chest, your heart is racing just lying still. The fever soaks through the bed to the mattress. The headache blinds you and your head feels like it’s going to burst. Your spine and bones feel like you’ve been in a car wreck. Poor monkeys having to go through this twice so we don’t have to.

I think i got it the first time by the end of february and here i AM at the end of june sick again but now feels milder

Let me tell you, you can, I, m just getting over the second dose.First dose, late March for nearly three weeks with a few weeks getting my strength back.So I go happily about taking little precautions except to make others comfortable around me. Then it hits again six weeks ago, mid July. This time I get the same warning signal, you are hit suddenly with the feeling some thing is really not right all over and a weakness, this go, s then comes back, then the symptoms start. They are different in different people and different each time.This time they were easier but the fatigue after is worse and taking longer. I was not deemed suitable for a home testing kit. I was told to walk 0-6 of a mile to an non advertized walk in testing station in an industrial site when I, d said I had no transport. The Americans and the Chinese know you can get it twice and there are many different symptoms.
