Dev Coaching - AI Vector Search - How to chat with data using Oracle Database 23ai

Businesses and enterprises want to leverage the power of Gen AI with Large Language Models (LLMs), and also use their streaming data, live data, to have responses in near real time, at the least cost.

That’s where Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) is an important component in Generative AI. RAG allows important data to be included with the prompt to the LLM.

In this session, we will learn the essential steps of building a RAG application, storing that information as vectors in Oracle Database 23ai, retrieving the data using the Oracle AI Vector Search capability, and returning the context using the PL/SQL package DBMS_VECTOR_CHAIN to augment natural language.
