Welcome to the Appalachian Container cabin in North Carolina- an incredible 3-story container home with sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains.

The home has 3 stories- the bottom floor being mostly storage, the middle floor has all of the living space, and the top floor has another outdoor deck. This is a triple container home made up of 1x40' container and 2x20' containers. We'll be focused mostly on the 40' container.

The interior comes with a well-stocked kitchen, 3 bunk beds, a queen bed, and a nice living room space complete with a gas fireplace and a TV.

Last but not least, this ultra-modern container home was featured in HGTV's show, The Containables, so you know it has to be top-notch!

I really like that you included a clip from Containables and showed how this home started so we could get a sense of how far it has come. I know a little about this house. It's an example of what happens when one man looks at a mountain, sees a vision, and moves it forward a little bit at a time. That inspires me every day. And the video of them trucking the container up the mountain... that part is extra :)

This is perfect for a AirBnB but I can't imagine living there full time. It's too small for full time living. Overall awesome build.

From the outside it looked much bigger. I think it’s pretty tight for 4-5 guests but love the decor and the gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains can’t be beat!! We are building glamping Airbnb’s on the Tennessee side and documenting everything! It’s ready fun to see how other hosts design their space for guests!
