Incorporating feints into your arsenal is an effective strategy to disrupt your opponent’s defence, and transition from long range into close range attacks.

Start with a jab or push kick. Feint by lifting up your leg to trick your opponent into bracing for another push kick, as you step in and switch to a knee or elbow attack. Vary all your weapons – jab, push kick, elbows, knees, to confuse your opponent.

A good way to practice feints in training is to go with the flow and not overthink the sequence. Stay relaxed, trust your instincts, and allow your body to FEEL the movement.
