I bet you didn’t know that this flatbread is older than pizza. That’s right, the manoushe, the iconic flatbread famous in the middle east has been around a long time before its cheese & tomato sauce cousin. In this video we’ll explore the origins of both, what exactly a manoushe is, and why it’s so important that it’s not called a ‘middle eastern pizza’.

I just heard of your place for the first time with your #1 rating from OnDeck. I tend to make cast iron pan pizzas at home and rarely ever buy pizza out anymore. But I will be visiting soon to try a Manoushe (and maybe more). I promise not to call it a pizza!

Tried to buy Manaeesh at Wholefoods in Bethesda River Rd & also in Wholefoods in McLean - they have Z & Z spices tho'. Guess it's best to order on line but I have a question - how long do they keep before use? Are they to be refrigerated or put in the freezer. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but both fridge & freezer space is at it's pre Christmas capacity!
Your videos are great. Your bakery & restaurant is a great find. Your family is wonderful. Happy Holy Christmas
