This is how I play every rpg or game with branching paths. "Looks like this is the way to go. I shall go the other way."

"I found all 900 pinecones." What a side quest that must have been, which grants only the endgamest of endgame gear. What a game.

Plot: ONLY THE STRENGTH OF 900 PINECONES WILL BE ENOUGH TO TRIGGER HIS ALLERGIES AND DEFEAT HIM.

"Shouldn't we be saving prince horace from king dragon?"

"Would you relax? I'm trying to find every pinecone, okay?"

"I found all 900 pinecones"

That's some serious dedication just to lightly slap the final boss in the face

It's crazy how YouTube recommends me some prozd video once every three months and every time this happens I find myself in a prozd marathon hours later

Normally, it's the players that hear boss music at the final battle.

In this instance, it's *the final boss* that hears boss music.

King Dragon watched as the hero entered his throne room. It had been a long road up to this moment. He watched from his scrying orb what he had gone through. How Lysanderoth managed to do his part in breaking his spirit, and in doing so kill his most trusted companion. How all his generals, despite falling to him, damaged his resolve, bit by bit. Admittedly, there were large swaths of his adventure he _didn’t_ see. Being the destined destroyer of the land doesn’t allow him the opportunity to watch his mortal enemy 24/7.

Though he didn’t need to, he _knows_ the hero’s will to fight has nearly eroded into nothingness. He could see it in the way he marched towards him. Well, less marched and more ambled. Merely the way he walked as if he had nothing left to do in this world, told the great king that this meeting was nothing more than a grand display of giving up!

The hero stopped right in front of King Dragon, the dark overlord towering over the puny warrior. His face carried that same feeling of nothingness his stride conveyed. It mattered little to the grand destroyer how the hero presented himself. He had a speech prepared, and suicidal or not, the hero was _going_ to listen to it.

“So, you finally arrived!” King Dragon boomed, his voice echoing throughout the grand halls of his castle. “Well, you’ll never save Prince Horace. I, King Dragon, will-“

*smack*

King Dragon was suddenly struck by the hero. The cruel ruler was caught off guard. It was a complete surprise attack. It was so jarring that king was gobsmacked, staring into the distance processing what just happened.

What was even more jarring was the attack itself. It wasn’t one of his special moves he learned during his travels. It wasn’t some grand magic spell that could annihilate an entire group of foes. It wasn’t even a swing from his legendary blade. It was a slap. A slap! An open palmed, swift and simple, slap to the face! It didn’t even apply a debuff, it was _just_ a slap! That infuriated King Dragon more than the attack itself! He couldn’t let that fact go. A slap! A slap is the first move the hero decides to do against his mortal enemy? He couldn’t believe it! It was asinine to even think it. A slap! A slap! He wanted to put his hand on his cheek, simply off of instincts, from the sheer absurdity.

Though, he couldn’t raise his hand.

He couldn’t feel his hand, actually.

It was all coming to the king at once. The feeling of his body slowly disintegrating from the inside, like maggots slowly working their way through a corpse. His arm went limp, and then his other. He tried to say something, give a reaction, anything in response to this incredible pain. He could only give a quick “wu-“ and a blink, before his face lost all function.

As the sensation of losing sensation quickly spread throughout his body, he realized it wasn’t his body disintegrating. It felt deeper. It was as if his very soul essence was being erased. He could feel his mightily magics leave him, as everything started to look dark.

“How could a single slap have such power.” Was the last thought King Dragon had before his ability to form new thoughts disappeared along side most of his motor functions.

His legs went next, his formerly mighty form crashing down on the carpet of the throne room, a shell of his former self. The destroyed destroyer was left staring at the hero, the one who brought him down with a single strike, his sense of sight being the last few things he had left of himself.

Finally, King Dragon’s soul was almost completely erased. All the tyrant heard before being erased was one thing. One final sentence before the ashes of his soul essence wandered the dimension of dead, never to exist in any capacity for the rest of eternity:

“I-I found all 900 pinecones.”

What you don't know is that this is the True Ending.
If you didn't collect all 900 Pinecones he wouldn't mention the fact he collected all 900 Pinecones.

I doubt anyone knows the game called "Two Worlds" because of all of the permant buffs you can get, by doing probably most of the side quests and finding tons of herbs, my dad beat the last boss with a single tap. So he reloaded and unequiped all of his gear, and tried again and found once more that he killed the final boss with a single slap.
