The original Sticky Notes, created by 3M, are yellow due to a combination of practicality and serendipity. When 3M was developing the product, the lab next door to the team had scrap yellow paper, which they decided to use for the initial prototype. It all started with a laboratory located nearby, which was constantly generating large amounts of scrap paper from its experiments. This scrap paper was yellow, and it so happened that a group of researchers working there noticed that some of the notes they had written on the back of these scraps had a surprisingly strong adhesive power. They took these scraps of paper and turned them into the sticky notes we know and love today, with that famous bright yellow color!

You should always check to see if hotels have cameras you can check by turning off the lights and then having your phone flashlight on and check for a blinking red light if it is there that means there is a camera you should always check in hotels but not many hotels have it (but in motels it is more common I’m pretty sure)

The reason why the sticky note are yellow is because someone was inventing a very sticky type of glue and tried it on a yellow paper but it ended up with the stick that we have today.
