You’re a really fun player to listen to man. I always say a good player makes others want to play.

Really like that color. Makes me want to eat a steak, smoke a cigar, and play guitar.

I love that country soul hybrid thing you were playing, the second jam in the demo part. Chefs kiss mate! You do this lick in the turnaround that sounds like Julian Lage, im going to have to slow this down and see if i can poach it from you. Great playing!

I live the smoke house burst a lot. I have a really nice classic but like the simple look. Great video thanks for sharing this.

On sent vraiment la personnalité du ac15 qui ressort dans cette demo, bravo pour ce jolis son.

I got a modern studio in wine red yesterday... Love it... tried some standard 60s and honestly preferred this to it!!

Sounded great clean through the Vox. I don't do overdrive unless it's the Robben Ford though his Dumble sound.

So they melded the Studio with the Classic? I dig it!

I’m a lifelong Fender guy, all Fender all day. But I bought one of these( cause I could) and DAMN I love it. Not gonna convert or anything, but a very nice edition

Got my wine red one couple of weeks ago and it’s a fabulous guitar. Sold my 50s standard a while ago and didn’t think I’d get another Les Paul as apart from the weight I’ve always found them a bit of a one trick pony (I play Strats). The tonal variety you get with this particular model I find quite refreshing in a Les Paul and for me personally with the coil split, phase flip and direct out it makes the guitar really versatile. Looks and sounds great- compound radius ebony fretboard feels and looks beautiful. Guessing this model gonna be a real winner for Gibson.

Great demo, the only thing missing from the specs is the return to ebony fretboards but otherwise pretty great and the pairing with the vox sounds great

Hi, is the back brown red or black ? It’s difficult to see in the video. Thanks

I bought the berry burst and run it through my gt1000 and ac30! Incredible tones. Btw I have gibson standards. Great guitar however to heavy! Studio 2024 is perfect due to reduced weight

My 07 which is chambered is still the best guitar I have ever played or owned. Feel and tone. The chambering definitely does contribute to the feel while playing, it's unlike anything I have ever felt in a guitar. I'm not sure if it affects tone, but I think the tone is great too. The 490R/498T are great for me, I like a strong pickup, plenty of OD. I don't even think chambering affects the weight much in mine it feels heavy. It's 7.6 to 8 lbs, I can't tell I think my scale is messed up but it's definitely +7.5.

I love it. Is it still worth it? I don't know. $2300 Canadian? That's $1000 more than I paid for mine (with a hardshell Gibson case) in early 08, does not have a gloss finish and that neck heel contour is take it or leave it. I don't play much lead so it doesn't really matter much to me. Black binding on the neck seems pointless. Perhaps it smooths out the feel of the neck, not that mime without binding is rough, it isn't but black binding does nothing for the look which is a waste. I think if you want a Gibson Les Paul because players you look up to played one or play one, yeah it is. A LTD/ESP Eclipse is probably pretty awesome, but it's not what Jimmy Page or Elliot Easton (The Cars, Midnight Special) or Ace Frehley played and the pickups in those guitars are NOT Gibson pickups which is a huge drawback IMO.

Looks a lot like my Worn Brown 2016 LP Studio HP

I have a tribute. Honestly, with Les Pauls, I feel they do one thing, that one thing, is rare and wonderful, but it doesn’t inspire me to go anywhere else with it. If I want single coil, my vintage strat is right there. Not going to pick up a LP for that. The compound radius is very though. My style is more cascading pentatonics over smooth jazz/prog tracks. The LP for me at this point is just dead weight, I want to get an Ibanez or PRS S2
