Fully support our passport control officers in their mission to keep our border safe and flowing. However, as an EU rejoiner I do find it difficult to swallow when citizens of our former union are harassed/prevented entry etc due to paper work blundering by the Home office. The HO really needs to be on this.

I work at Heathrow & so see these Border Force officers every day. However what they do is frankly in maybe picking out an individual & stop them entering the U.K. due to not having the right documents, visa etc or coming here under false pretences is frankly pointless - when we freely let in hundreds of undocumented illegals who come over from France by boat almost every other day, our RNLI border forces ushering them into our country & we then provide them all with hotel accommodation & benefits without even first checking if they have a criminal background.

The UK Border Force are totally incompetent! Migrants are swarming in like football fans to an England match. At least 500 migrants per day land just by sea, with the majority being collected from France and transported here by the UK Border Force. And the UKBF cannot even track them coming over in big inflateable boats in open water using satellite and heat seating tracking equipment and night vision (when they are the only boats on the English Channel. Embarrassing or what!
