Sure, it may sport a suspension system that’s extremely rare to find on a scooter of its price. And yes, it can lay claim to one of the longest mileages in its price class. But, aside from all of its impressive features – which also include a dual drum braking system, NFC card reader, and turn signals – it’s extremely underpowered, making it slow and tedious.

Thanks for the review Josh! Splach used to be my scooter manufacturing hero because of the Titan and Twin models, the later of which I purchased with solid tires and is still running great after 800mi. The Turbo and Turbo Plus where slightly uninspiring but their price points were fairly strong before other options came along. With modern Scooters like the NIU KUi3 Max regularly hitting the $750 mark these OEM designs with telescopic stems seem so archaic. The price difference between the scooters like the Ranger compared to stronger, less flexy, modern scooters has become minimal. People can now get into scooters like the VMAX VX2 LT, ST and GT, (different sized batteries) from $650-900 or mainstays like the Ninebot Max, or even less expensive scooters like the Hover Journey Max, a 45lbs duel 350W motor scooter the scratches the tires off the starting line and can climb any hill in San Francisco. This model is on sale for $391 for the black version and $479 for the white right now. This is a 26mi range, 21-22mph, UL Certified scooter that goes from 0-20 in 6.6 sec. as tested by ESG. Now none of these options have suspension but that hardly matters on scooters in this class. While the C-type suspension is entirely useful on performance model like the Splach Titan, it's of little value on a scooter that can't get out of it's own way. While the Splach Twin is a little street fighter, the Ranger isn't the type of scooter than can take advantage of that extra travel. I think that Splach needs to flush this model completely and focus on working with the OEM's to bring modern designs to market rather than rehashing these 3-4 year old platforms. They're really milking this ancient blueprint but it's time to move on.

its a vsett8 motor, im driving it with custom controller with 20a current limit and 48 / 10.5AH cells. Making wheelies @ start with 115 KG. But def needs some ferrofluid, because i can overheat it easily. Currently searching a folding handlebar scooter with dual motor but its hard to find. I could only find Dualtron Pop and Bluetran ... Nothing for police and regulated citys. :(

Stay away from this product, Its a real nightmare. not reliable at all. it will brake every time you take it out for a ride, either get a flat tire (their solid tires tend to crack within a week very light use) brake issues or controller errors. It's a waste of money and time. please guys stay away from this piece of junk. it made my life miserable. they dont respond your claims, very unprofessional. do yourself a favor and deal with american brands only.
