Roy was so underrated. He was one of the greatest musicians to ever live tho

Roy Clark was one of those rare people that truly loved his craft.
If it had strings he could play it and by that I mean at the highest level.
In the later years he was known more for his comedic routines but he had some extraordinary albums where he shared many truths of life.
As always Don thank you for sharing this and introducing Roy Clark to some new folks.

Love this clip from the Hee-Haw tv show. I've been a huge Roy Clark fan since childhood, when my mom and I sat down every week for an hour of Hee-Haw silliness and fantastic music. The "Million Dollar Band" included Roy Clark and Buck Owens, Boots Randolph on sax, Floyd Cramer on piano and many other country music all-stars, even Chet Atkins sat in about every other week. Cheesy humor and great music, we never missed it.

Roy Clark was the most talented musician ever to cross a stage!! My opinion.

This song was written in 1955 and originally recorded by Arthur Smith and Don Reno under the title "feuding' Banjos". It was popularized in the 1970's by its use in the film 'Deliverance'. However, the abilities of both Roy and Buck take it to a whole new level here. Definitely a '10'. Thanks Don for your wonderful reaction.---#UTRCM

Got to see Buck Trent in Branson a couple years ago. He put on a fantastic show and his playing hadn't slowed down at all.

If it had strings Roy could play the hell out of it!

As we all know, Roy Clark was a master musician, and had great comedic talent, and as this clip from Hee Haw shows, Buck Trent was no slouch in those areas either.
