Hey guys! I’m slowly coming out of a hiatus. This year was not really productive for me, I’ve really felt as I’ve turned into a stone and couldn’t move forward. But I guess this is just a stage of my life that I had to experience. Through this music I’ve tried to express what I felt during this period. This project is about self-discovery and faith in oneself. Throughout the process of producing this EP I understood that I’m the one setting obstacles for myself and making it harder than it seems. That’s why I’m really grateful to the fact that my own music could help me understand an important part about myself and overcome the self-doubt and a sort of “numbness”.

I hope you’ll appreciate and enjoy the music I’ve created. Take care and as always thank you so much for listening to my music ❤️

A gentle chill wind rushed through the forest, washing over the ronin as he passed quietly through the ancient boughs of this place as the sun slowly rose over the hidden horizon. The changing of seasons in the air, the sound of creatures quieter, more infrequent, as they readied themselves for the coming winter, leaves gently wafting through the air, drifting lazily to the forest floor. This place, at first, seemed unremarkable, an ordinary forest like so many others. This one, however, held something different, and it was this that Tenno traveled to see. It was said this place held a statue of ancient, mysterious power. None had ever learned how to tap into this power, how to wake the statue, and over the long decades, the statue had become little more than whispered fable. But it was something strange and beautiful, and this is what Tenno sought on this grand journey. To seek out the grand beauties and mysteries of his world, record them, not only in word but in song, so that they would never be forgotten, and so the beauty of the world could be known to all. He walked undisturbed through the forest, his sugegasa was collecting leaves as he walked, the leaves landing and sticking from the moisture of the early morning dew. It didn't trouble the nomad, and it made him break into a gentle smile. It was as if the forest itself were embracing him, telling him 'you belong here'.

It was only several hours later, deep into the forest that Tenno saw it. On the edge of a pond, hidden among the rocks and trees in a secluded part of the forest. A stone statue sat, it's form wrapped in moss and small, blooming flowers of soft orange and pale white. The dull gray stone carved with intricate detail, slowly being reclaimed by the forest. At some point, it had broken, some structure on its back now only partially rising, giving the impression of a halo of some sort, now lost to time. It was magnificent, its form was unlike anything Tenno knew of. Was it some beast of legends long forgotten, or a fae being of some kind? Perhaps a god, whose worship had ended ages past, its existence now only a memory of its lost civilization. Tenno couldn't tell, but he didn't need to in order to appreciate the beauty of what he saw. For a moment, he sat before it, closing his eyes in meditation, and in short order, against his will, he slept.

He was startled awake, only to discover himself separated from his body. The statue now, was different as well, its ancient carvings glowing with a pale cyan light. As he gazed up, the statue seemed to speak, though not a word was spoken. it seemed to ease his mind, bringing him calm. This place, this being, it was some sort of dreamscape, and it felt as if the statue told him it was his to explore. Tenno thought back on places he had visited. The great icy plains of the musical spires, the fields of luminous plants and animals that shone like stars when night fell, the brilliant crimson forest and so many more. as he thought on them, the landscape changed around him, showing his memories of those places, the statue remaining ever present. This place let him return to anywhere he'd ever been, ever seen. He could find the places he was most content, and his sleep would be always peaceful, he felt the statue tell him. A gift, to a brilliant soul from this ancient entity. Slowly, Tenno awakened, feeling rested and strong like he'd not in some time. Looking to the statue, the faintest trace of cyan light was fading to nothing, leaving him uncertain of whether what he saw was real or not. It didn't matter, he thought. with a soft smile, he spoke to the stone statue "Thank you for this gift. Please, allow me to repay your kindness with one of my own". he reached for his flute, bringing it up to his lips. For this morning at least, the forest would be filled with song.

Ok! so, first of all, such a beautiful album. After a long and tiring day yesterday, being able to come home today and finally get the chance to sit and listen to this was everything I needed. You always manage to fuel the fires of my creativity, and I can never thank you enough for that. This was exactly what I needed to get through everything. I hope that your holidays are as beautiful as your music, and all of the best wishes for the coming year my friend. I will happily be here for your next release, and for all of those that come after. It was really interesting reading your pinned comment, and it got me to think about a few things about myself too.

I don't know how else to phrase this other than as a huge expression of gratitude for you making the music that you do. I was first introduced to your music by my older brother on a late-night drive back from the hospital back in summer 2021. The first tracks of yours I heard were from the whole album The Inner Light, and they enchanted me straightaway at 1 am that night.

Ever since then, your music has been with me through thick and thin - it has stayed with me as a calming reassurance; a voice of peace - ever since I got to discover your creations. Your music has helped me through some seriously tough times where my mental health hit lows I had never seen before; the mood of reflection and introspection; tranquility too; that your tracks convey is unique like no other. I'm very happy to have grown with your music at my side ever since then - I've journalled and explored my own emotion and self countless times with these tracks playing through my headphones.

I'm glad you're gradually overcoming your own obstacles too with your expression of emotion and simply... yourself, through music. Thanks again for the creations you freely share with the world, and thanks again for helping me express and grow myself as well. 💜
