I eat the McDonald's fried egg burgers, red bean mochi pies, shaka shaka fries and even a spicy chicken burger. These McDonald's Japan only menu items usually are held this time of year to align with Tsukimi Moon viewing season. This only in Japan McDonald's menu is only available for a limited time. I know that many people aren't able to visit to Japan at the moment so I wanted to share what type of McDonald's Japan limited menu items are being offered right now. You can get burgers similar to that at any McDonald’s in the world that serves the egg sandwiches. You just have to get there at the right time, usually around 10:30 to 11 AM, when they’re switching from breakfast to the regular menu. If you order a Mc10:35 at some locations, you’ll get an Egg McMuffin with two beef patties on it, but you usually have to order the sandwiches separately and assemble it yourself.

I have chickens and I'm amazed Japanese chicken breeds are basically known for being more ornamental and productive, but Japan uses a LOT of eggs and there's in every dish!! (I guess in Canada I could MAKE a Japanese item by ordering the breakfast bun and then ordering the 2 dollar small burger., taking the patty out and tossing the bun!!!

So now I know! Tsukimi is Mid Autumn Festival! Chinese all over the world celebrate it with moon cakes and lighting up lanterns! We in Singapore don't really have a speciality menu for this festival though but we have specialties once in a while with Chedol Mcfurry, Nasi Lemak burger..
