I made this tart with fresh apricots and it took my breath away (both literally and figuratively, as I could not STOP going for seconds! ) I have been using a recipe from the trusted Italian cookbook for years to bake Crostata di Frutta for years… but then I watched Stephanie’s demo and was inspired to give it a try. So glad I did! It took the crust to a new level: the pastry is delicate and literally melts in your mouth! I also like that it is not overly sweet as I am watching my sugar intake. As suggested, I will experiment with other fillings. My husband says that “the crust could not be better”: it is flaky and moist, similar to a buttery croissant. Thank you, Stephanie, for spreading The Joy of Baking. It is pure Love. 👌🏻✨💞✨

I went to a farmers market yesterday and purchased the best strawberries, came home and made this. My husband said it was the best! I made a raspberry sauce and served it with vanilla ice cream with the sauce drizzled over. Beautiful presentation and tasted amazing. I love all your recipes. Thank you, thank you!,
