Pro tip: If you get an enchantment that you dont want on the enchanted thing, just unenchant it with grindstone so you get some xp too

Also: different types of tools and armor have different enchanting values; gold has the highest one, followed by netherite and iron. Diamond has one of the lowest values, so you should get netherite equipment first if you want to use the enchanting table

The best way is get some XP and get a librarian villagers, yes villager with "s" u need at least 10 librarian villagers and 3 anvils (in case it breaks) and to make librarian villager just put a lectern in front of them

Don't need to throw your not good enchanted tools and armor, use the grindstone to get rid of the enchant and then enchant again.
