It's actually pretty strange that Vincent is the good guy in the video game of Over the Hedge even though he's the bad guy in the actual movie of Over the Hedge

Here's how it should have gone:

(RJ, Verne, Hammy, and Stella arrive at Vincent's cave)
RJ: I don't see Vincent, so I guess he's not here.
Verne: I don't know. I don't think we should be stealing that food.
Stella: Verne's got a point, raccoon. Stealing is wrong.
RJ: Relax, guys. We just have to take what we need. That shouldn't be stealing.
Hammy: RJ is kinda making sense here. After all, what you need is better.
Verne: Okay, we'll just take what we need. I still don't think it's a good idea though.
(RJ, Verne, Hammy, and Stella place three bags of chips, three bags of pretzels, three cans of cookies, and three cans of popcorn balls on a red wagon)
RJ: (places a can of Spuddies on the wagon) I'll take just one thing I want.
Verne: Let me guess: Spuddies.
RJ: Yes, since they're my favorite kinda food.
Stella: I can see that.
Hammy: (hears bear footsteps) Someone's coming!
RJ: Hurry! Let's get out of here before….
(Vincent enters the cave with an angry look on his face)
Vincent: RJ?
RJ: (nervously) Uh, hello. (to Verne, Hammy, and Stella) Look, guys, it's Vincent.
Vincent: (growls) You're not trying to steal my food, are you?
RJ: No! Well, yes, but please! I'm just trying to feed myself and my friends! Besides, we need food to eat as well!
Vincent: (chuckles devilishly) Do you really think I care? (tries to eat RJ, but Verne stops him)
Verne: (sternly) Don't even think about eating RJ, bear. He's just a hungry guy in need of food like we are.
Stella: Yeah, Vincent. If you eat RJ, I will gas you so hard that both your children and your grandchildren will stink!
